Welcome to Secure Aangan (“Secure Aangan”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Secure Aangan is a smart society and community management platform designed for residential societies, gated communities, apartments, and housing associations in India.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and process your information when you use our websites, applications, and services. By accessing or using Secure Aangan, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

- Name & Email address
- Mobile number
- Flat or unit number
- Society name
- Profile photo
- Vehicle details
Visitor & Security Info
- Visitor name & mobile number
- Visitor photos
- Entry and exit logs
- Gate pass records
- Security approval logs
Payment Information
Secure Aangan does not directly store residents’ debit card, credit card, or bank account details. Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways like Razorpay or other supported providers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Managing society operations & visitor access management
- Resident communication & billing tracking
- Complaint and helpdesk management
- Emergency alerts and notifications
- Security monitoring and improving platform performance
- Preventing fraud and complying with legal obligations
3. Role-Based Access & Data Isolation
Secure Aangan uses role-based access control to help ensure that users only access information relevant to their authorized role. Separated permissions apply to Residents, Society Admins, Security Guards, and Super Admins.
Each society’s data is logically isolated from other societies on the platform. Society administrators may access limited resident information necessary for society operations.
4. Data Storage & Security
We implement commercially reasonable security measures including secure authentication, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, role-based access control, and audit logging.
While we strive to protect your information, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security.
5. Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data through the application or by contacting us at secureaangan@gmail.com. Upon verified deletion requests, user accounts may be permanently removed and personal information deleted or anonymized.
6. DPDP Readiness
Secure Aangan is designed with privacy, security, and responsible data handling practices aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
References to DPDP readiness or compliance practices do not represent government certification, legal accreditation, or official compliance approval. We continue to improve our systems to support responsible handling of digital personal data.
