These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Secure Aangan’s websites, applications, and services. By using Secure Aangan, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Secure Aangan
Secure Aangan is a society and community management platform that helps residential communities manage security operations, visitor management, billing and maintenance, resident communication, and society administration.
2. User Accounts & Eligible Roles
Users are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and ensuring account information is accurate. Secure Aangan may suspend accounts involved in suspicious or unauthorized activity.
Different platform permissions apply to:
- Residents: Personal dashboard and billing access.
- Society Admins: Management tools and oversight.
- Security Guards: Visitor logging and gate control.
- Super Admins: Platform-wide maintenance.
3. Society Admin Responsibilities
Society Admins are responsible for managing society operations responsibly, maintaining accurate records, handling resident data appropriately in compliance with applicable laws, and managing configured payment gateways securely.
4. Payments & Billing
Secure Aangan supports maintenance and society-related payments through third-party payment gateways. Secure Aangan:
- Does not directly store residents’ card or banking information.
- Is not responsible for failures caused by third-party payment providers.
- Does not guarantee uninterrupted payment gateway availability.
Payment disputes related to society dues should be addressed with the respective society administration.
5. Acceptable Usage
Users agree not to misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious content, or disrupt operations. Violation of these terms may lead to account suspension.
6. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, software, logos, and technology associated with Secure Aangan remain the property of Secure Aangan unless otherwise stated. Users may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute platform components without authorization.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted under applicable law, Secure Aangan shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential damages, third-party gateway failures, internet outages, or society-level administrative decisions.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to applicable jurisdiction under Indian law.
